Steve Angello
Steve Angello (born November 22, 1982, in Athens, Greece) is a Greek-Swedish DJ, producer, remixer, and label owner. Raised in Stockholm, he began DJing at age 12 with scratch and hip-hop before evolving into electronic music. He co-founded the influential label Size Records in 2003.
As a member of Swedish House Mafia alongside Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, he helped define modern EDM with massive hits like “One,” “Miami 2 Ibiza,” “Save the World,” and “Don’t You Worry Child.” The trio headlined legendary festivals and regularly topped DJ Mag’s Top 100.
Angello has also built a successful solo career, releasing the introspective album Wild Youth (2016) and the concept-driven Human (2018), while performing at global festivals and sustaining residencies in Ibiza. His sound blends progressive, electro, and tech-house elements with emotional depth.
With roots in hip-hop and a journey through underground to arena stages, Steve Angello remains one of the most versatile and respected figures in electronic music.
