Chus & Ceballos

Chus & Ceballos is a Spanish DJ/producer duo formed by Jesús “Chus” López Esteban (born 1971, Madrid) and Pablo Ceballos. They began collaborating in the early 2000s and co-founded Stereo Productions in 2001. Together, they pioneered the “Iberican Sound,” a unique house music style blending tribal percussion, Latin and world music elements with progressive and techno influences.

Chus started DJing as a teenager in Madrid and the Algarve region, holding long-term residencies at venues like Teatro Kapital and Kadoc in the ’90s. Ceballos brought a techno background that blended seamlessly with Chus’s groove-based house.

The duo achieved global recognition with club and festival hits such as “Afrika,” “Iberican Sound,” “Low Frequencies,” and “One Night in Havana.” They’ve also produced official remixes for major artists and held residencies at iconic clubs worldwide—including Pacha (NYC), Space (Miami), Stereo (Montreal) and Ageha (Tokyo). Beyond their artistic success, Chus & Ceballos are seen as ambassadors of underground house with rhythmic, percussion-driven energy and deep musicality.
