HUGEL, born Florent Hugel in 1987 in Marseille, France, is a DJ and producer known for his infectious blend of house, Latin beats, and club-ready energy. Influenced by funk, disco, and soul from an early age, he started DJing as a teenager and quickly developed a passion for electronic music.
He gained international fame with his viral remix of “Bella Ciao” in 2018 and continued to build his reputation with hits like “Morenita” and “I Adore You.” His music combines house grooves with Latin and Afro-inspired rhythms, earning him multiple gold and platinum certifications and millions of streams worldwide.
HUGEL has collaborated with artists such as Robin Schulz, David Guetta, J Balvin, and Topic.
