Tiësto

Tiësto, born Tijs Michiel Verwest in 1969 in Breda, Netherlands, is one of the world’s most influential DJs and producers. He began his career in the 1990s, becoming a pioneer of trance music before evolving into a leading figure in EDM and house. His debut album In My Memory and later releases like Just Be and Elements of Life established him globally. Tiësto was the first DJ to perform at the Olympic Games opening ceremony in 2004. Over the years, he has received numerous awards, including a Grammy. Recent hits such as “The Business,” “Don’t Be Shy,” and “The Motto” continue to showcase his lasting impact on the global dance music scene.
