Ummet Ozcan

Ummet Ozcan (born August 16, 1982, in Putten, Netherlands) is a Dutch DJ and producer of Turkish descent. Classically trained on piano and guitar, he began creating electronic music in 2006 and quickly gained renown for his bold, genre-crossing productions spanning trance, electro-house, big-room, progressive house, and techno.

Ozcan’s early tracks like “TimeWave Zero” and “Arcadia” topped Beatport charts, and he soon collaborated with global names including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, R3hab, and David Guetta. In the early 2010s, he shifted into big-room house, co-creating hit singles like “The Code” and “Raise Your Hands” that cemented his presence on the international festival circuit.

After launching his own label, Oz Records (a sub-label of Spinnin’ Records), he expanded his creative reach—also designing synth presets and soundbanks for popular plug-ins. Recent years have seen him experiment with traditional vocal techniques (like Mongolian throat singing) and cultural melodies, notably in his viral track “Xanadu.” In 2025, he released fresh singles including “Ocean’s Voice” and “Yima.” A veteran of Tomorrowland, Ultra, and Electric Love festivals, Ummet Ozcan continues to blend technical innovation with high-energy performances worldwide.
